Skagit County is ready to CELEBRATE and the 4th of July in Skagit County is the perfect way to celebrate our freedom in Washington State. If you are looking for things to do on the 4th of July in Skagit County, you'll definitely be able to find a fireworks show near you in the list of events below.

In 2023, we have celebrations in Sedro-Woolley (including the LOGGERODEO!), Big Lake, Mount Vernon, La Conner, Anacortes, and at the Skagit Speedway. You also won't want to miss the parade in Concrete!

The 2023 Sedro-Woolley Loggerodeo is a 5-day celebration and is how Sedro-Woolley celebrates the 4th of July! The schedule of Sedro-Woolley's 4th of July highlighted events is listed below. Find more fun Loggerodeo events and activities on their website. THE CARNIVAL IS BACK THIS YEAR!!

Big Lake Fireworks2

Pull up a chair anywhere around Big Lake and watch the 2023 Big Lake Fireworks Show get started around dark. The Big Lake Fire Fighters Association's ANNUAL DISPLAY is a fundraiser, so please consider donating. Every year an estimated 40,000 people view the display. Over the years, the proceeds from the fireworks show have gone to upgrade fire fighting equipment and provide training and overall support for the Big Lake Fire Department.

Fireworks begin at dusk (10pm-ish).

Mount Vernon's Fabulous 4th of July is all about the Fireworks....a good time for the entire family! This year they will not be providing food and there won't be any bands playing.  Please leave BBQs, canopies, fireworks and alcohol at home. 

The spectacular firework show begins at dark. Come with your friends and family and enjoy the evening together. There's lots of room to spread out and socially distance.

WHERE:  Edgewater Park is located at 600 Behrens-Millett Road just over the West Side Bridge in Mount Vernon across the Skagit River from Downtown Mount Vernon. 
 
WHEN:  July 4th - fireworks begin at dark. Don't forget your lawn chair or blanket, and a flashlight to help when leaving the show.

The City of Anacortes invites you to celebrate the 4th of July Independence Day!

10:00 AM: Town Photo and Patriotic Program -- Corner of Commercial Avenue and 5th Avenue 

11:00 AM: Parade! 

5:00 PM: The Port of Anacortes presents Rock the Dock at Seafarers Memorial Park

Dusk (approximately 10:00 PM): Fireworks over Fidalgo Bay

For those participating in the parade: Please do not throw candy from moving vehicles. We encourage people to walk alongside moving vehicles to hand candy to the children.

Join the Port of Skagit & Town of La Conner for their 4th of July Celebration. Start the day with the parade and finish the day with a celebration featuring Grammy award-winner Randy Weeks, with the Enthusiasts, the Chris Eager Band, and the Powerhouse Horns.

5-11 PM: Live music, food, beverages, and gigantic fireworks show

The 4th of July parade and live music will be in the Town Center beginning at 3pm. The parade starts near the Concrete Post Office, travels east on Main Street and ends with a party in Town Center. This year they are celebrating SUPERHEROES and prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed and best-decorated parade entries. Superheroes are everywhere: from our founding fathers and famous women in history to personal heroes and Marvel movie characters — and everything in between.
